In his post, The Ruff Stuff, Slaptop delved into the world of deep house. I hope to continue where he left off by giving you a couple tracks that have been hiding in my library for the last couple of months.
Our favorite Texans, Chad and Dave of Tritonal, have been having a blast this summer and their music has been reflecting it! They've been producing new tracks that have been tearing up dance floors all across the globe! So for all you Tritonians out there, here are their summer jams! Volume should definitely be heading North!
Having recently returned from a brief stint in the land of
maple syrup and limited wifi, I am going to use this post to catch all the
humans up on some swanky tunes that I have recently acquired.
The name speaks for itself. In my opinion, he is one of the

A couple of weeks ago, Slaptop, Thieves, and I, along with friends and family were fortunate enough to see Above & Beyond perform their second consecutive show at San Francisco's Warfield. It was the best show that I have ever seen. They opened with the above video, featuring their new song "Small Moments" and closed with the breathtaking acoustic mix of "On A Good Day Metropolis." During the in-between two and a half hours we danced, we cried, and we shared our love for the same music. My words cannot possibly do their show justice, but here are a few of the highlights:
(I uploaded these songs with gibberish for names in an effort to keep them from being taken down, so your iTunes will be a little messy. Sorry for making you rename them.)
Anyone who reads this blog ought know that I hold the music of The M Machine in highest regard. However, with only about 10 songs to their name, I have had to dig deep to find you more of that dark indie house sound.
