Tom Fall
Finals are just around the bend, so we've got to have fun while we still can. So go crazy tonight, humans! There are few people in trance that go harder than the Finnish Tom Fall. He's been featured on the blog a few times before, but here's another helping.

Swedish Nights
I've been pretty out of commission this week. No sleep, tons of stuff to do, I've hardly had a second for you humans. Sorry about that. Here's one that I've been digging a lot lately. Enjoy.

Leon Bolier
This Dutch sensation has taken the EDM scene by force over the last couple months with a form of 'trance with a twist.' Reminds me of W&W, a new favorite of mine. He recently played an epic set for the ASOT 550 Kiev Liveset. Cheers.

Arganda (Original Mix) - Heatbeat
My favorite Argentine duo combines for some more upbeat trance greatness.

Metropolis pt. 1
I cannot say enough good things about this EP. It is incredible. The M Machine, a trio, from San Francisco, have, as of today, renewed my faith in the evolution of electronic dance music. Here are some of my favorites:
Immigrants - The M Machine
Shadow in the Rose Garden - The M Machine
Deep Search - The M Machine

Power Trance
A new subgenre is on the rise this year. Taking the oh-so-sweet melodies of trance and combining them with more aggressive drops and synths of house, power trance establishes a glorious medium between the two. Last week, I posted one of my favorites, Shotgun (Original Mix) - W&W. This week I have a great track for you by Jochen Miller. Enjoy.

Rok da House
I love house music. So this post is going to be simple and to the point. Four phenomenal songs. Sweet melodies. Big drops. Absolute ear candy. Happy human-ing on this wonderful Saturday. Cheers.

Chad & Dave
Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed (a.k.a. Tritonal) are two extremely humble Texan trance producers. They make some really awesome music: soft vocals and huge chords. And they love Above & Beyond which is a great quality to have.
Tritonal breached 100,000 Facebook fans yesterday and celebrated by giving away a bunch of free mashups, some of which are really cool. So if you like what you hear, you can download their mashups here.

Rolling Stones T-Shirt
The single that followed Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker was always doomed to dwell in its epic shadow. While Rolling Stones T-Shirt isn't as huge (how could it be?), it still brings the Dada bass and humor that you know and love. Alongside remixes from Chuckie and Cazzette, you'll be able to milk plenty of dancing out of this one. Go get happy drunk, it's the afternoon.

Joda version 4.0
I am not always a huge Sander van Doorn fan, but he does a wonderful job on this tune from earlier in the year. It's upbeat and has that kind of catchy chorus it's impossible to get out of your head.
Oh yes...he did. The Dutch sensation takes one of the most popular songs of the year and gives it a genre change.
I return to my bread-n'-butter for these last tracks by W&W. They have a unique mix of trance and house that just makes me want to joda.
Goes hard at the right times. You need to have it in your library.
Not quite as big, but equally pleasing on the ears.
Tom Fall takes a damn good original and turns it into an even better remix.
Cheers.

Monday...
It's so Monday right now. A night of caffeine and paper writing (no sleep) has left me pretty delusional and in dire need of something calm with some soft female vocals. Hopefully you're all better rested than I am. I think you'll be able to enjoy these without being completely washed. Good night.

Just in case...
In case you had a strange night. In case you let your freak flag fly. In case you're not 100% sure what happened. In case you need something to get your Sunday on the right track. This is the post for you then. Throw these tracks on and the day will get easier. I promise. Cheers.
Unfortunately, this track is not yet released. So, I have the next best thing. Enjoy the TATW #419 rip. You'll get the idea.

10,000 hits!
The lyrics are dumb, the song is not.
Not sure how this one didn't get posted earlier but if you haven't heard it yet be sure to grab this track.
Takes some catchy vocals and gives them the big room house treatment.
Home (Chris Ramos Remix) - Gabrielle Aplin
Beautiful song. Love the vocals and synth melody on this one.
To infinity and beyond,

The Plunge
The hour of wolves is upon us. It's Friday, time to go ham. So here are some more slappers that you can bounce around to:
Also, before you hit the dance floor tonight, take a few minutes to appreciate this man, Nathan Barnatt. He's got the moves. We could all learn a thing or two from him.

Lazers
Although this may seem like a strange mish-mash of tracks, they all have one thing in common. Put bluntly, they go hard in the motherf**kin paint. The first track is by Slovenian Martin Bejlic, a.k.a. Beltek. It's big and dirty, like the Gucci Mane of EDM. The next one features my man Tommy Trash with Moguai. A little different from some of his other stuff, but I'm still a fan. This is followed up by the anthem-esque track by Avesta, Arena. To cap things off, I have a little track called Gladiator by two Dutch DJs Oliver Twizt and Sandro Silva. Let these energy-filled tracks be the motivation for your weekend madness. I know I will. Cheers.
Party Voice (Original Mix) - Beltek
In N Out (Original Mix) - Moguai ft. Tommy Trash
Arena (Original Mix) - Avesta

The Deep Breath Before The Plunge
The weekend is almost here. If you're looking for something to relax to, maybe finish your work to before you get wild tomorrow, then I've got some songs for you. These are all smooth and slow and have some great vocals, easy to get lost in. Kick back and enjoy.

Silhouettes
Avicii is killing it and will continue to with his pop infused brand of progressive house. Sure he has become mainstream and is no longer the most hip cat, but his excellent musicality and pop sensibility shows no signs of slowing down. Really like the vocals on this one.

Seven Lions
I've been meaning to post some non-trance for a while now. So here's some dubstep. Fittingly found out about this guy through his remix of "You Got To Go" that won Above & Beyond's official remix competition. Seven Lions has taken off from there, with his first EP set to be released on April 23rd. His songs find a balance between melody and bass that I really enjoy. Don't worry though, there's plenty of bass.
Bonus (this one's so fucking cool):

Joda version 3.0
I have some epic tracks for your joda-ing this week by the likes of A-Trak, Michael Woods, and Dada Life. Cheers.
The intro sounds very Indie rock-esque, but the drop is pure energy.
Classic Michael Woods on this one. The lyrics say it all: "I came to party, let's light it up..."
I have been really stoked on Dada Life this year. This track is no exception.

Diamonds in the Rough
After perusing vast quantities of house music, I have found some gems for you. Usually found deep in the sets, mixtapes, and podcasts, they are often not paid the attention that they deserve. Enjoy.
Nox (Original Mix) - Clockwork
Featured before on FYH. We love it. You will love it. Download it.
EMP (Original Mix) - Dyro & Jacob van Hage
Don't know a lot about these guys. Swanky melody + Big drop = House music success.
Devastate (Original Mix) - Style of Eye
Definitely the weirdest of the bunch. Some strange noises combined with a more classic house drop. Tommy Trash featured it on his April 2012 Mixtape. Need I say more?

Rafaƫl Frost
Happy Easter/Passover/Saturday! (You'll celebrate that last one, at least.) I'd like to introduce you all to Rafaƫl Frost. He's a dutch DJ/producer who makes some of the hardest hitting trance out there. He's frequently featured on Air Up There and his remix of Azzura was played a few weeks ago on Trance Around The World. All of these are songs that you can go nuts to. So do.
This was the first song of his that I heard and it's still probably my favorite.

Alex Metric - Ammunition EP
Just got tipped off to the drop of this EP by a friend of mine on facebook. I went and checked it out and immediately thought it deserved to be shared with the world. Alex chose to release the EP for free on his website, so you can download the entire thing here completely guilt free. The first two tracks on the EP, Anybody Else and Epichords, have a sick electro-funk circa 2008 feel (think Bag Raiders or Russ Chimes). The final track, Rave Weapon, is just what the name says. With a drop very similar to the recent monster from Nari and Milani Atom (which coincidentally Slaptop posted about here), this track is sure to melt faces and destroy ear drums.
My personal favorite from the EP. If you like this, go check out Russ Chimes' "Midnight Club" EP, some of the best electro out there.
Big Time Two Year Old Bonus Monster Track:

We Own The Night
The combination of Tiesto, Wolfgang Gartner, and Luciana is enough to create an absolutely irresistible track. I simply can't get enough of it. You won't be able to either. Cheers.

For When The World Ends
Trance isn't just about the love and good vibes. It's also about the epic and good vibes. These three songs all have an apocalyptic, last chance to dance kind of feel to them. The sky is falling and you're going out raving. Listen and maybe that will make a little sense.

Summer Chillin'
Big day for lineup announecments. Electric Zoo and Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas both released their phase 1 lineups. Both of them are jaw dropping.
Electric Zoo:
Day 1: A Group Therapy Arena; Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Laidback Luke all back to back on the mainstage...
Day 2: A second A&B set, smack in between Dada Life and Axwell. Holy shit.
Day 3: Dash Berlin, Porter Robinson, Knife Party, Skrillex (kinda secret special guest), and Tiesto and Boys Noise to pick between at the end of the day.
My take? Probably the best Electric Zoo Lineup the festival has seen yet.
Check out the full lineup here
EDC Vegas:
Not a lot I can say. They basically got every single big act that's in the EDM scene right now. A lineup to rival Ultra.

The Change-Up
Rather than introduce a particular producer and/or DJ, as has been my trend thus far, I would like to highlight the vocals of Max'C. On paper, his soul-style vocals do not seem to mesh with the house music genre. In reality though, they do. I highly recommend that you download these irresistible tracks. Give them a good, honest listen. You won't be able to get the buttery vocals out of your mind. Enjoy.
Because Of U (Club Mix) - Feng Shui feat. Max'C
Put It On (Vocal Dub) - Reza feat. Max'C

Not For The Faint Of Heart
Not into the whole love, unity, sweet melody side of things? Well then these songs are for you. They go hard in every sense of the word. So you are looking to get hammered with your buddies and jump up and down in a dark sweaty basement party this weekend these tunes are just what you need. Pure energy and rage, melody not included.
No Fun Intended - The M Machine

Joda version 2.0
I give you a couple of the bigger releases from the past week. I don't really feel like I need to explain too much. They have been played a lately. Not necessarily my favorites, but you should give 'em a listen.
Sing 2 Me (Original Mix) - Thomas Gold
Pretty standard Thomas Gold.
Apogee (Original Mix) - Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes
The best of the bunch. It's melodic and it goes hard at the right times.
Chainsaw the Night (Original Mix) - R3hab
Abrasive. Exactly what you would expect for R3hab.
