In Case You Missed Me

Here are the jamz.  I've been busy ghost ridin' with RB n shit but Thieves is back and here to stay.

Remember Babylon?  The dirty house track that made you feel like an anaconda was about to hit the dance floor?  This is the sequal.  Congorock's back, hide the kids.

OWSLA just put out another release, a full length from Kill The Noise called "Kill Kill Kill." This is the standout track, though admittedly I'm a sucker for electro house.  If you're a fan dubstep-ier offerings, check out the whole thing on Beatport, particular Kill The Noise Part 1.

This is simply one of the most genre busting tunes I've ever heard come out of the EDM scene.  BT and Adam K fuse electro house and trance into an epic combo.

I am.

Stuck In My Head

This song is everything you want from a progressive house remix.
Dangerous (Deniz Kuyo & Johan Wedel Remix) - James Blunt
Enjoy.

Felguk

Hailing from Brazil this, duo goes hard. Earlier we featured a track they did with Example here. If their newest tracks are any indication, this group is going to continue to smash dance floors around the globe for a long time to come.

Love the big chords and synth melodies between the dirty drops on this one.

Some "Satisfaction" influence on this one. Also is he saying "I'll house you"?

I typically find Lazy Rich to be a little choppy for my taste but somehow this one hits the spot.

Bonus: Some oldies that have stood the test of time.

For Those Who Left Too Soon

First of all I want to apologize for the lack of posts lately, I've been really busy and a little depressed.  In that spirit I've decided to throw up some songs that veer on the darker side, along with this Andrew Bayer music video.  Andrew Bayer orginially wrote "From The Earth" as an ode to his brother who passed away.  His emotion is palpable throughout, which I find pretty incredible given that electronic music as a medium does not generally lend itself to expressing sadness.  I believe the music video truly does justice to the heart that was so clearly poured into the song.  In addition to this video I've posted the Breakfast remix below, which has been a staple in Above & Beyond's sets for over a year.  One of the most beautiful trance songs I've ever heard, give it a listen.

I've also posted the Bart Claessen remix of Teardrop by Massive Attack, which adds sweeping chords and airiness to a dark edm classic.  It is absolute fire.  Enjoy, keep calm and carry on.
